This Week's Episode
Tehillâh marks the sixth of nine episodes we have planned for this series. We hope you're enjoying the journey of learning more about the different types of praise found within scripture. How have these podcast episodes on worship changed the way you approach God? Send us an email to [email protected], or better yet, join the community and share with all of us so we can celebrate alongside you! We're still contending to see the community become a place for many to share and connect, especially as we draw 2024 to a close, beginning to prepare ourselves for 2025. Happy December by the way!
Next week, we will be pushing the send button on this newsletter from Tempe, Arizona, where Amy is competing at the 1st Phorm Legends Championship, December 12-15. If you happen to be in the area, swing by and say hello. We will be at the Arizona State University Sun Devil Fitness Complex. See you there!
Blessings!
Be blessed today, knowing will full confidence, that the Lord God Almighty inhabits the praises (Tehillâh) of your new song to Him! May your lips confess His everlasting faithfulness. Amen!

This Week's Podcast
Tehillâh means to sing a song of praise, a new song, or a spontaneous song. A biblical way to worship God is through song. Not sure a song someone else has written for you to sing, but a song that comes from your heart. Psalm 22:3 tells us this is the only kind of praise that God inhabits! When we sing to him our song, He is present to us.
Reflection Questions
Have you ever sung a spontaneous song to God? Expressed your gratitude through the music of your own voice?
It doesn’t matter if you think it sounds good or not, there is something to be found in this style of praise, give it a try today.
Scripture References
He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen.
Then say, “Save us, O God of our salvation,
And gather us and deliver us from the nations,
To give thanks to Your holy name,
And glory in Your praise.”
Yet you are holy,
enthroned on the praises of Israel.
I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
And will trust in the Lord.
Enter His gates with [a]thanksgiving
And His courts with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Giving them a garland instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called [a]oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
We also read three other versions of Psalm 22:3 from the Amplified Bible (AMP), The Voice (VOICE), and the Modern English Version (MEV)

A Daily Declaration
God himself inhabits my praises!
