Hi friends,
Christmas is drawing closer with each passing day, and there is so much to be thankful for. For many, there is something about this time of year that makes it feel special, and for many others, it can be a time when things don't feel so great. Whichever one you're feeling right now, we can rejoice and experience joy; not because of our circumstances, but because of how great God is. We hope this week's meditation brings you into a space of encountering the joy of the Lord. Be blessed!
With Love,

Week 3 of Our Advent Series
This week, our focus is on Joy. This is the kind of joy that can only come from God. It’s deeper than emotion; it’s a recognition of just how good God is. When Elizabeth was greeted by Mary, a joy erupted within her, not because her circumstances were perfect, but because she recognized the presence of the Savior. Her joy wasn’t manufactured. It was the natural overflow of a Spirit-filled moment. Today, we learn to rejoice not just in what we feel, but in who we know God to be.
And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”
You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Reflection
How is joy connected to your belief in what God has for you?
Where have you been seeking joy outside of His presence?
What would it look like to receive joy as a gift from God today?

Thanksgiving, Praise, and Worship: The Pattern God Designed
In this episode, we explore the biblical pattern God lays out for entering His presence—and why the progression from thanksgiving to praise to worship matters more than we often realize. We talk about the posture of the heart, the power of gratitude, and how true worship moves us beyond feelings into deeper encounter. If you’ve ever wondered how to connect with God in a more meaningful way, this conversation will give you language, clarity, and practical steps to take.
