Next Podcast Series

The new year is just around the corner. Here at Cultivate Conneciton we like to start the year off creating podcasts from the words God is giving to you! Do you have a practice of seeking God for a word or intention for the new year? I have really embraced this idea the past several years and I have been blessed by how these intentions have helped guide me, and draw me closer to God.
Last year my word was multiply. I have seen the fruit of this come to pass in the ways God has opened doors to work with people, both one-on-one and in a small group formats. Opportunites to multiply what God has established in us to others. I have an idea of my word for this year, continuing to pray into it.
I highly recommend you give it a try, ask God for the word or intention he has for you for 2025. Once you feel settled on a word we would love to hear it. Send us an email at [email protected], we will select from those words and create podcasts based on those words.
This Week's Episode
This is our last week in our podcast series on worship and praise. We have spent time focusing on the seven hebrew words for praise.
We hope this series has brought a greater understanding of praise, allowing you to explore the many physcial expressions connected to this word, along with getting to know the One we worship even more.
As always, if you want to get in touch, feel free to drop us a line at [email protected], or better yet, join the community!
Blessings!
We pray that at the year draws to a close, God fills you with excitement and joy for the year ahead. We bless you to enter the new year with praise and thanksgiving!

This Week's Podcast
The word halal is probably one of my favourite words for praise. It means to boast, celebrate, rave, shine, or be clamorously foolish! God has created us to live fully alive and to have his abundant life flowing through us. The meaning of the word halal reflects this. As we have seen through each of the words for praise, this one too points to praise having a physical expression.
Glory (halal) in His holy name;
Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad.
My soul will make its boast (halal) in the LORD;
The humble will hear it and rejoice.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, (halal)
In the city of our God, His holy mountain.
We also read Psalm 69:30, Psalm 149:3, and Psalm 150
Reflection
As you mediate on who God is in your life, what do you want to boast about? How have you seen him move? Would you boast about His goodness? His kindness? His healing power? How have have you come to know Him?
We are in a season of celebration with Christmas. What does it look like to celebrate God through the rest of the year?
What comes up for you in as you think about the idea of being clamorously foolish in praise to God?

A Daily Declaration
God you are worthy of all praise, I will boast in you and celebrate you!
