New Podcast Series

This podcast series is our favourite one of the year! We call it the What’s Your Word series and we love it because it is where we get to record podcasts based on the words you send in. Setting an intention or pursuing a word for the new year is a powerful practice especially when we do it with God. Through relationship we can explore with Him, as He reveals to us what a fitting intention is for the year. I always love the variety of words; some can feel soft and tender, maybe a call to rest, where others can be active and bold a call to action! We are all on our own journey with God and what makes it so fun is seeing how each of our journeys differ from one person to the next.
We started this series in 2019 and this will be our 7th year. The first word we ever recorded was Hope, which seems like a great place to start. Since then we have recorded 70 podcasts with words you, the listeners, have sent in.
If you haven’t tried the practice of getting a word for the year, we highly recommend you take some time to seek the Lord about one. Don’t be in a rush, it can take weeks to settle on a word. At some point it usually drops in your heart and you just know this is it! Once you receive that word we would love to hear it. Send it to us at [email protected] and we will put it on the list of possible podcasts for this year.
This Week's Episode
Our first word was sent in by Anita and it is the word Gentleness. In this podcast we explore how Jesus was gentle, and how we are called to be gentle just like him. Gentle can also mean humble and meek, but what it doesn’t mean is weakness or being a victim. Powerful people choose to be gentle, and that isn’t weak!
As always, if you want to get in touch, feel free to drop us a line at [email protected], or better yet, join the community!
Blessings!
We pray your 2025 would be a year of self discovery. To find the vast riches and treasure that lie within you. Each of you are a gift to those around you, and with every passing day, your gentless towards yourself and others does not go unnoticed. Thanks for being you... because you are wonderful!

Tell Daughter Zion, “See, your King is coming to you, gentle, and mounted on a donkey, and on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

Reflection
As you look at the life of Jesus, where can you see His gentleness? What stories come to mind that convey this?
Is there someone in your life that God is specifically highlighting to you to be gentle towards? What does it look like to be gentle to them in their current situation?
Take inventory and notice in the past year if your were to give yourself a grade on being gentle toward yourself, would you pass? How have you treated yourself, is God calling you to adjust at all here?

A Daily Declaration
God teach me what your gentleness is really like.
