Join Us In Our Community
We are exicted to invite you into our Culivate Connection online community. Our goal this year is to create an inviting space for this community to connect and get to know one another. If you haven't joined yet you can join the community here!
If you have joined you may of noticed there has not been a ton of activity yet as we were learning the new platform. We are kicking off this year with daily posts from now to the end of the month to create a space to reflect together on 2024 and then project into 2025. It doesn't matter if you miss a day, you can jump in at anytime and participate. Look foward to seeing you there.

It is week two of the What's Your Word series. We are excited to record podcasts based on words God has given you for 2025. If you have a word please send it to us at [email protected] and we will put it on the list of possible podcasts for this year.
This Week's Podcast
This week’s word was sent in by two people, Amy and Shannon. Joy shows up in the bible 182 times, which means we could do a whole 12 week podcast series on it! Joy is a deep, abiding sense of gladness and contentment rooted in God’s presence, promises, and purposes.
It is not merely an emotion tied to external circumstances but a spiritual state that persists even in trials. True joy comes from a relationship with God, fueled by faith, hope, and trust in His goodness.
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
- Psalm 16:11 NASB
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
We also read Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV and John 15:11 NKJV
Reflection
When you think of Jesus, do you think of joy? Hebrews 1:9 tells us he had more joy than all his companions. Can you embrace a joyful Jesus?
What does it look like to set joy before you in the midst of challenging circumstances?
Where are you turning to try and find joy in your own life? How can you connect with Jesus so that his joy may remain in you, and your joy may be made full? What is God inviting you into?

A Daily Declaration
God you created joy, and desire for me to experience the fullness of your joy. Show me how to recieve that joy today.
Blessings!
We bless your day today to be one filled to overflowing with joy. May your joy be so much so, that it become contagious, causing others to smile and experience it for themselves. Go forth today and be a spreader of the Joy of the Lord!
As always, if you want to get in touch, feel free to drop us a line at [email protected], or better yet, join the community!
