This word is from a dear friend who I have the privilege of personal training. It is a joy to be able to work together with her on her physical body, talking about spiritual things at the same time. She had mentioned her word for this year is "be still"; allowing her heart to be still, especially in the areas we cannot control. Trusting God with our hearts, and our lives.
“Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes!”
“Be still, and know that I am God!
I will be honored by every nation.
I will be honored throughout the world.”
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”
“Listen to this, Job;
stop and consider God’s wonders.

Because the Lord is always with me, I am able to still myself in the presence of anything that comes my way, knowing God fights on my behalf.
