Belated Greetings from Miami
Hello from sunny Florida! This week's newsletter is late, and we hope you'll forgive us for not getting it to your inbox on time. We just wrapped up our trip in Miami where Amy and her teammates, Marika and Stefanie, competed in the TYR Wodapalooza CrossFit competition. This was the second year in a row they've competed here and once again everyone felt blessed by this opportunity, enjoying the crowd, the weather, and so much more.
We will be on the road travelling for a few more weeks. This very newsletter is being typed out as we cruise up interstate 95 in the RV with our parents. One of the many blessings is getting to spend so much time with family who are so kind and generous. To be on the receiving end of their generosity is such a gift. We pray that you will be on the receiving end of someone else's generosity today, and when you do, don’t forget to say “thank you!”

This Week's Podcast
I tend to pay attention when things repeat themselves. Perhaps it is coincidence, or perhaps it is God trying to get my attention. This week’s word was sent in by two different people, Tamika and Becky, and the word is generosity. Let’s explore together the refreshing that can come from generosity this week.
Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others.”
A generous person will prosper;
whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

What is God showing you about your heart when it comes to generosity?
How can you partner with with Him in being generous to others? Is he highlighting someone to generous towards? What is your motive?
Where have you been sowing when it comes to generosity? Where do you want to sow? Where is God calling you to sow?

God loves to bless me, not only so that I may enjoy His blessings for myself, but that I may bless others out of my own abundance.
