That’s a wrap! Today’s episode marks the end of our 2025 “What is Your Word?” series. Thank you to everyone who sent in your word for the year. Whether yours was chosen or not, we hope and pray you experience it made manifest in your life. If you haven’t gotten a word yet, there is always time. Sit with God and ask Him to give you one. Even though this series has come to an end, we’d love to hear your word for this year. Let us know; we will partner with you in prayer over it. With that said, enjoy this week’s word, prepared.
This Week's Podcast
This is the final week of our “What is Your Word?” series. This week’s word, prepared, was sent in by Dede. Thanks Dede!
God calls us to be prepared. We here at Cultivate Connection believe in the concept of a 3-part being, spirit, soul, and body. What does it look like to be prepared in all three of these areas? Spiritually, it’s cultivating a lifestyle of connection through prayer and meditation; spending time with God. Mentally, it’s fostering healthy mindsets that are ready to handle anything life throws your way. Physically, it’s honoring this beautiful body God has gifted to you, keeping it healthy and fit; after all, it is the vessel that houses your spirit and soul for now.
Our hope, is that as Christians, we are known by how well we keep ourselves prepared and ready for anything. May our lives be a source of hope and inspiration to all those around us.
The preparations of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be an implement for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Reflection
What does it mean to be prepared? Spiritually, mentally, and physically?
Is there any area of your life that needs to be surrendered, to prepare you for God’s good work?
God has prepared a future filled with hope for you. Even when things feel uncertain, he is preparing you for something greater. Ask Him to show you some of the great things He has in store for you.

A Daily Declaration
God, prepare my heart for your plans. I trust that you will guide me.
Blessings!
May you go forth today with a prepared heart, a ready mind, and a willing spirit, following where God leads you. Trust in His plans, and rest in His promises. Let this blessing settle in your spirit as you live in constant awareness of His presence in your life. Amen.
