New Podcast Is Live
Let’s Start Here: The Accidental Podcast That’s Helping People Connect with God
In this very first episode of the Cultivate Connection Podcast, we’re pulling back the curtain to share where this all began. How a spontaneous guided prayer for a friend turned into a decade-long journey of helping people connect with God through weekly meditations.
You’ll hear the story behind the podcast’s accidental beginnings, the seasons of growth and pause, and the passion that’s driving this next chapter. We talk about community, CrossFit, calling, and what it really takes to grow spiritually strong. This isn’t a polished presentation; it’s an honest, heartfelt conversation about purpose, presence, and partnering with God in every area of life.
If you’ve ever wondered who we are, why we do this, or if there's more for you in your walk with God… let’s start here.
This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Week Four of our meditation series on the promises of God.
This week, we lean into the strength that doesn’t come from trying harder, but from trusting deeper.
When you feel worn out, stretched thin, or unsure how to take the next step, God meets you there. His strength is made perfect in your weakness. He doesn't expect you to hold everything together; He invites you to lean on Him.
This meditation is for the moments you feel like you’ve come to the end of yourself. It’s a reminder that God’s power is not only available, it’s promised.
Take a breath, let your guard down, and receive the strength only He can give.
He gives strength to the weary,
And to the one who lacks might He increases power.
He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger. And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.
Reflection
Where do you feel weak today?
Instead of pushing through in your own strength, what would it look like to invite God into that space?
He doesn’t ask you to be strong enough—He promises to be your strength.
His power shows up best in our need, not our perfection.

A Daily Declaration
God, Be my strength today.
Blessings!
Sending prayers you way today that God's strength would become so tangible and real for you. That you will come into a greater understanding of His power working best in your weakness. We bless you to know you are everything you need to be, and have everything you need in Christ Jesus!
