Welcome to Week Six of our meditation series on the promises of God.
Let's face it, life can feel complicated at times. To make matters more complicated, we have unprecendented access to a near endless supply of information. Never before has there been so much "wordly" knowledge at our fingertips, is it any wonder "leaning not on our own understanding" seems easier said than done?
In this week's meditation, we cut through the noise to discover we have One source of knowledge that surpasses everything else, God. Invite him to lead and guide your steps.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my eye upon you.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.
But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Reflection
Where in your life right now do you feel unsure or in need of direction? Have you invited God into that space, or are you trying to figure it out on your own?
What voices are influencing your decisions the most? God’s Word, others’ opinions, or your own understanding? How can you quiet the noise and tune in to His voice?
Are you willing to trust God’s guidance even if the path isn’t what you expected? What does trust look like for you today?

I acknowledge God in all I do, and lean on His understanding.

Blessing you with a supernatural grace to sense His presence, and to be led and guided by His wisdom. Your Father in Heaven loves you dearly. May you feel that tangible love today!
