This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Week seventeen of our meditation series on the promises of God.
Joy isn’t the absence of struggles or obstacles; it’s the presence of God. This week’s meditation invites you to encounter the promise of joy. God's joy is not something you have to chase or earn. It is a gift, given freely to those who earnestly seek Him. Whether you feel full or empty, strong or weary, His joy is for you. And it’s a joy that remains.
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”
Reflection
Right where you are today, no matter what's going on, or how you feel, what does it look like to receive joy from God?
How can you begin to cultivate joy as a spiritual strength, not just an emotion?

A Daily Declaration
The joy of the Lord is my strength!
Blessings!
Sometimes, you're full of joy, and sometimes you're not. While we don't fully understand why joy can seem so circumstantial, coming and going based on whats happening aound us, we do fully believe that God has a joy for us that is not fleeting. We bless you today to tap into this joy; the authentic, unending, never changing joy of the Lord. He promises it to each and every one of us, and God always keeps his promises! Blessings upon you today to experience the fullness of all God has for you.
