This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Week twenty-one of our meditation series on the promises of God.
When life hurts, God doesn’t pull away; He draws near. In this week’s meditation, we make room for the Promise of Comfort. May this be a powerful reminder that we are never alone in our sorrow. Whether you’re grieving, anxious, or simply weary, let God’s Word bring comfort to your entire being. His comfort is always personal, present, and powerful.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
As a mother comforts her child,
so will I comfort you;
and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
Reflection
Where in your life are you longing for comfort?
How have you experienced God’s nearness in painful seasons?
Is there someone around you who might need the same comfort God has given you?

A Daily Declaration
I turn to you God for all my comfort.
Blessings!
One thing is for certain in life, we will all experience times where we need to be comforted. Blessing you this week, that if you find yourself in such a place as this, you feel the immense love and comfort of your Heavenly Father as he wraps his arms around you. May his comfort overflow into the lives of those around you who need it just as much. What a joy and a gift to support one another in this journey of life. Be extremely blessed!
