This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Week twenty-two of our meditation series on the promises of God.
In a world filled with injustice, it’s easy to feel cynical or lose hope. But Scripture assures us God is not indifferent to it all. He is a God who sees, acts, and brings about justice, even we can’t see it or do not understand. This week’s meditation focuses on the Promise of Justice, grounding ourselves in the truth that God defends the oppressed, rights wrongs, and always keeps His word.
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you;
therefore he will rise up to show you compassion.
For the Lord is a God of justice.
Blessed are all who wait for him!
The Lord works righteousness
and justice for all who are oppressed.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
Reflection
How does knowing that God is just shape how you respond to injustice around you?
Where in your life, or in the world, are you longing to see justice carried out?

A Daily Declaration
God is gracious, compassioniate, and just.
Blessings!
We bless you this week to see the world around you with fresh eyes. May your awareness of God’s perfect plans and purposes be front and center for you. Even when things may seem less than ideal, and it looks like the “good guys” are losing the battle, be confident in knowing God is at work; through you and all the believers across the globe. Blessing you to be a source of positive inspiration for those around you. You are amazing!
