This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Week twenty-three of our meditation series on the promises of God.
What if eternal life isn’t just about our future home in Heaven? What if it's something we get to experience right here, right now? This week’s meditation explores God's Promise of Eternal Life; not just the hope of heaven, but the gift of knowing God today. Through His beloved Son Jesus, God invites every believer into a life that never ends and a relationship that transforms everything.
And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] [a]only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life.
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Romans 6:23 AMP
Reflection
How do you view eternal life? Is it more as a future hope or a present day reality?
What does it mean to you to know God personally, not just know about Him, but to really know Him and be known by Him?

A Daily Declaration
I have eternal life here and now, because I know God and I am known by Him.
Blessings!
May you discover your true identity as an eternal being, living in this finite world. Who you are, as a beloved child of God, holy and precious through the blood of Christ, is just as real right now as you read these words as it will be for eternity. This body may die, but our spirit lives forever. Right here, right now, you get to practice for what will be experienced forever in God’s presence. Blessing you this week to live boldly and unashamedly in the fullness of who God sees you as; capable, brilliant, creative, strong and courageous, lovely and accepted. It’s who you are, and no one can take that away. Blessings!
