Cultivate Collection Weekly - #301
![]()
Hi friends,
You may or may not have noticed our weekly emails stopped being sent for a while. After wrapping up the Promises of God series back on September 4, we took a step back from sending. That pause provided space for us to rethink how we show up in your inbox, and most importantly, how we can create content that genuinely helps, encourages, and adds value to your week.
So here’s the plan: we’re bringing the weekly newsletter back, but with a fresh intention. We want these emails to be something you notice when they do arrive, and something you’d miss if they didn’t. We also want to purpose to grow our audience, something we’ve just let happen organically until now. Our current small but highly engaged email list consists of 336 amazing people, one of which is you, so thanks for being here! We are setting a goal to get 1,000 subscribers by end of next year. Completely doable, but not without purpose and intention.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll be shaping what this looks like, and we’d love your input. What would make these emails something you look forward to? What would be meaningful, helpful, or life-giving to you?
Hit reply and let us know. Even a short sentence or two makes a difference.
Blessings,

This Week's Meditation
Welcome to Our Advent Series for 2025.
In this first episode of our Advent series, our focus is on "hope." This kind of hope is not mere wishful thinking. This is about setting our mind on the promises of God. When God makes a promise, he keeps it, and that means we can rest assured what he said will take place, will in fact take place. But what happens in that in-between space? The space between our hope for something being stirred, and in seeing a promise fulfilled. This is where we can start to feel restless. Our prayer is that in this waiting period, your hope grows stronger. This isn't simply wasted time; this is the training ground for your hope to grow strong and faithful, just like many of the Biblical heros we read about.
In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah, of the division of Abijah. And he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. And they were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the commandments and statutes of the Lord. But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and both were advanced in years.
- Luke 1:5–25 ESV
(Only verses 5-7 shared above for brevity)
I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
and in his word I hope;
my soul waits for the Lord
more than watchmen for the morning,
more than watchmen for the morning.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Reflection
What are you waiting on God for in this season?
How is He inviting you to draw near while you wait?
What does Spirit-led hope look like in your current circumstances?

A Daily Declaration
I abound in hope because of the Holy Spirit living within me.

What is Your Word for 2026?
It's that time of year again, where we begin asking for your words for next year. For those who don't know, this is one of our favorite series. For the first several weeks of the new year, we choose one of your words, and craft a meditation based on that word. It is a fun and powerful time to partner with God, catching His heart for us via a simple word.
If you haven't already done so, spend time with God, asking Him to give you a word for 2026. When you have a word for the new year, send to to us at [email protected] and we add it to our list to choose from.
Thanks for sharing your word with us! We look forward to seeing what each of you share. Blessing your time with God to seek him and what he has for you!
