Cultivate Collection Weekly - #302

Hi friends,
We hope your week is going great. It's amazing to see that we're already here in December. Time has gone by quickly for us, and there has been so much take place over the past year. We're excited as this year draws to a close, and are greatful to have you with us as we end it with our meditation series on Advent. May this week's meditation bless you richly.
With Love,

This Week's Meditation
Week 2 of Our Advent Series
In this week’s meditation, we reflect on Mary, a young virgin who was told she would bear the Son of God. Radical news, delivered in a radical way, with life-altering ramifications. Mary’s story isn’t simply a miracle; it’s about surrendering our need for control. Peace isn’t found in the absence of chaos and uncertainty. Peace is found in trusting the One who holds all things together. May Mary’s radical “yes” to God serve as encouragement to us when we need to simply say “yes God, I trust you.”
And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.
And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
Reflection
Where in your life do you need to hear, "Do not be afraid"?
Can you trust the Spirit to overshadow what seems impossible?
What would it look like to surrender with that same trust?

A Daily Declaration
Behold, I am a servant of the Lord!

What is Your Word for 2026?
It's that time of year again, where we begin asking for your words for next year. For those who don't know, this is one of our favorite series. For the first several weeks of the new year, we choose one of your words, and craft a meditation based on that word. It is a fun and powerful time to partner with God, catching His heart for us via a simple word.
If you haven't already done so, spend time with God, asking Him to give you a word for 2026. When you have a word for the new year, send to to us at [email protected] and we add it to our list to choose from.
Thanks for sharing your word with us! We look forward to seeing what each of you share. Blessing your time with God to seek him and what he has for you!
