It is week eight of the What's Your Word series. If you have a word for 2025 and would like it to be considered for an upcoming podcast, we're about to wrap up our selection of words for the year, so if you've been sitting on a word and haven't sent it in yet, now is the time! Send us your word at [email protected] and we will add it to the final list.
This Week's Podcast
This week’s word, walk, was sent in by Rebekah. Walking by faith means trusting God beyond what we see from our perspective, obeying without fully understanding, and moving forward with confidence because His desires for us always exceed our own desires for ourselves. It is surrendering control, persevering through uncertainty, and relying on His strength, not our own.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.
So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
for we walk by faith, not by sight—
Reflection
What does walking humbly with God look like in this season of your life?
How is God’s word guiding each step you take?
Sometimes the path is clear, and sometimes it isn’t. How can you walk by faith in all situations? What are you putting your trust in?

A Daily Declaration
God gives me beauty for ashes, and joy for my mourning.
Blessings!
Even though we may not understand the intricacies of how electricity gets generated and transmitted across many miles, ending up in our homes, for many of us, when we flip on the light switch there is little to no thought in our minds about that light turning on. We trust, dare I say, we expect it to just work.
Blessing you to have the fullest measure of confidence in God’s ability to keep you and sustain you in all things. Even though you may not understand the intricacies of His ways, may your trust be made evident in your daily walk with Him.
As always, if you want to get in touch, feel free to drop us a line at [email protected], or better yet, join the community!
